ART ADVISORY SERVICES - AN OVERVIEW
ARC Fine Art offers complete advisory services for both new and seasoned collectors, individuals and corporations alike, and works directly with the trade, assisting interior designers, architects and contractors with their search for fine art. ARC Fine Art looks beyond the realm of its artists to find the most compelling works of art, frequently placing works by Mel Bochner, Matthew Brandt, Willem DeKooning, Richard Diebenkorn, Jane Hammond, David Hockney, Brice Marden, Abelardo Morell, James Nares, and Pat Steir among other 20th and 21st century masters. Our services include but are not limited to acquisitions, framing, installation, lighting, insurance, and collection management. When desired, art education is offered through visits to museums, art fairs, galleries and artist studios.
SERVICES:
SITE VISIT & PROPOSAL OF WORKS
ARC Fine Art will meet with clients on-site to discuss their collecting interests and needs, to assist in creating a budget, and to outline the process. ARC Fine Art will work alongside designers, architects, and contractors throughout the process to achieve optimal effects of art placement and will address lighting needs. ARC Fine Art will create a selection of possible art works for purchase and will provide biographical information on artists, market history and market comparatives when available. ARC Fine Art will arrange for on-site viewing of art on approval.
PURCHASING
ARC Fine Art will act on client's behalf to purchase art from galleries, auction houses and artists, negotiating the best possible purchase price.
FRAMING
ARC Fine Art will advise on the framing of art work and will arrange for the delivery of art work to and from the framers. ARC Fine Art uses the services of a select handful of framers in New York City and Connecticut to undertake its framing needs.
DELIVERY & INSTALLATION
ARC Fine Art will arrange and oversee the delivery and installation of all art work, hiring professional and insured fine art shippers and installers.
FEES
ARC Fine Art charges an advisory fee of 10% on retail purchases and 5% on auction purchases. Client will be responsible for framing, delivery and installation fees as well as be responsible for travel expenses of ARC Fine Art representative beyond a 75 mile radius from Fairfield, Connecticut.
